EXSILIUM - weapon.
Jesse has obtained an ability known as "power transferal". With this power, he can completely and permanently remove one or all supernatural abilities from someone or something, contain them within himself for an unlimited amount of time, and bestow those powers upon another person (or the same person from whom they were taken, if the situation requires). He's able to turn even divine creatures into ordinary, mundane beings - essentially rendering them harmless. Naturally, this gives him the power to dispel curses and magical effects, as well. He's also able, if he chooses, to give numerous abilities to a single individual - enabling them to become massively powerful. This ability comes along with a necessary sort of empathy: he immediately understands the nature of a power he holds and how to use it, enough so that he can vaguely instruct whoever he's giving it to.
Previously, this ability did not evolve beyond the control Jesse gained over it when he first discovered it. However, in Exsilium, weapons evolve and so will his power. The stages of his weapon's evolution are as follows:
This power will never be used without permission from all the players involved. Throughout each stage of evolution, Jesse remains vulnerable to attacks of a physical or mechanical nature (unless he gains a supplementary power that would shield him from such attacks, in the later stages). Rendering him unconscious or otherwise severely impairing his mental state will always prevent his ability to transfer a power or to nullify a supernatural ability.
Jesse's "inventory" of superpowers at this point contains:magical absorption, rokushiki, regeneration (2), telekinesis, elemental transmutation, intangibility, teleportation (1/2), technopathy, resurrection, flight (2), telepathy (1/2), super speed, shapeshifting, invisibility, healing (2), earthbending, super strength (3), the force, hypnosis, aero spell, fire spell, blizzard spell, thunder spell, size reduction, gravity manipulation, ice manipulation, light manipulation, plant generation/manipulation, energy projectiles, pheromone manipulation

Previously, this ability did not evolve beyond the control Jesse gained over it when he first discovered it. However, in Exsilium, weapons evolve and so will his power. The stages of his weapon's evolution are as follows:
- FIRST STAGE // he is not capable of using any power he holds; skin-to-skin contact must be uninterrupted for a full 10 seconds in order for a transfer to occur; any powers being used on him either internally or by touch can be voided by him. ( unlocked on February 1, 2013 )
- SECOND STAGE // he is not capable of using any power he holds; skin-to-skin contact is only necessary for a split second in order for a transfer to occur; any powers being used on him either internally or by touch can be voided by him. ( unlocked on April 5, 2013 )
- THIRD STAGE // he is not capable of using any power he holds; proximity of three feet is necessary in order for a transfer to occur, with physical contact now unnecessary; any powers being used within three feet of him can be voided by him. ( unlocked on June 1, 2013 )
- FOURTH STAGE // he can now use any power he holds; proximity of ten feet is necessary in order for a transfer to occur, with physical contact unnecessary; any powers being used within ten feet of him can be voided by him.
- FIFTH STAGE // he can now "copy" powers rather than "steal" them by necessity; he can now use any power he holds; proximity of twenty feet is necessary in order for a transfer to occur, with physical contact unnecessary; any powers being used within twenty feet of him can be voided by him.

F.A.Q.
My character's survival depends on their powers. Will this kill them?
No! Jesse's power will simply revert them to a mundane (usually human) form.
My character's power is their soul. What will happen to them without their soul?
Souls don't exist in Jesse's world. Science does. Your character will be fine, just like real people are, with beating hearts and brain activity and such.
My character is a cyborg/robot/machine. How does that work?
They are unaffected by Jesse's power unless magically augmented (e.g. Aigis from Persona 3).
My character's power is the result of training or science, not magic! How does that work?
Are they stronger than any human could conceivably be in the real world? Then it's a superpower and Jesse can take it.
My character is an alien. What about that?
Now they're as weak as a human, although their appearance might not change.
My character is a vampire. What now?
They no longer require blood for sustenance and they can walk in sunlight. Congratulations on your mortality!
My character is a ghost or a zombie or a reaper or some other spirit being. What do?
They're aliiiiiiiiiive. And a boring old human.
My character is a GOD!
Not anymore!!!
My character is a dragon or magical talking animal.
They're now just a big lizard or whatever animal. Or a human. I'll leave it up to you. No more magic, though! Which probably also means no more talking, if that was a magical or telepathic thing. Do animals in the real world talk? I don't think so. Unless you're on shrooms. Then maybe.
I still don't get it.
If your character's abilities are being removed or nullified by Jesse, it basically means that they become as ordinary and weak as the people from Jesse's world, which is the same as our world. If it can't happen in real life, they're unable to do it. A martial arts master wouldn't lose their knowledge or skills, but kiss your hadoukens and your kamehamehas and your shunpos goodbye.
My character is psychic or otherwise spiritually aware. How do they perceive Jesse from a distance?
He feels like a black hole. His soul cannot be sensed, his mind cannot be read, his future cannot be foretold... unless he specifically opens up to you.
My character has the same power as Jesse. What happens?
Absolutely nothing! They cancel each other out.
