Members of the Constellation: you have done well. Our organization is strong, and our resources are growing. The community now knows our name and our purpose. The government's security has been breached. Their secrets are leaking into the public's view. By revealing the truth of their surveillance and corruption, we will help to build a better future for all imPorts.

There are great changes under way. Starting this month, you will all be paid regularly for your services to the cause. Each of you will find the money arriving in a secure account in monthly installments. You deserve to be compensated for the sacrifices you have made and the risks you have taken.

We also have new and more powerful allies. The work of our scientists has imbued a select few natives with great powers, far stronger than any ordinary soldier. In gratitude, they have joined our ranks as 'Comets.' They are available for employment in your service, should you have need of a protector or an ally. In return, you will be responsible for ensuring their training and continued contributions to our work.

Soon we will launch new and greater operations to advance our plans. This is only the beginning. Until then, continue your efforts. Continue to investigate, recruit, and train. Together, we will not be stopped.

Keeping the money for himself, or giving it to his allies, or publicly donating it to sway popular opinion- these are all courses of action he might have expected and comprehended. But why a women's shelter? How does Daryl benefit from that? Could it be that he simply wants to help women in trouble?

No, of course not, the Count decides. There is some ulterior motive. He might not know it yet, but it is there. It hardly matters one way or the other- Daryl can do what he wants with his money, as long as he continues to advance the Constellation's goals.

The arrangements will be made at once. Two thousand dollars anonymously donated each month to the shelter, until you indicate otherwise.

If you would like to donate your compensation back to our cause, we will accept it with gratitude. But not all our members are in such a position. They have expenses which must be dealt with, and expect reward for their service.

Rest assured that the Comets have been carefully examined before recruitment by our scientists. Their transformation was quite humane, and their loyalty is assured. We have granted them a new life with new abilities, and they are grateful for this gift.
